2. Information we collect
During sign-up and profile setup we process your name, username, profile photo and contact details, plus a live verification selfie used to verify your account.
We process photos, videos, chat messages and voice notes you upload; your friendship and connection data; likes, comments, notification preferences, blocking and reporting records. Optional location and religion/belief information is processed only if you choose to add it.
Device and OS type, app version, IP address, a device push token for notifications, crash and error logs, and security logs are processed to run and protect the service.
3. Why we use it
We use this information to create and verify your account, provide Friendz features, show your content to the people you choose, deliver notifications and support, prevent fraud and abuse, review reports, improve the service, and meet legal obligations.
These activities rely on performance of a contract, legal obligation, legitimate interests and, where required, your explicit consent.
4. Sharing your information
We do not sell your information. Data is shared only to the extent the service requires with infrastructure providers such as Hetzner Online GmbH (server hosting, Finland), Cloudflare R2 (photo and backup storage, EU region), RevenueCat (subscription validation, USA), Expo (app update infrastructure, USA), and Apple and Google (push notifications and store services, USA); with competent authorities where legally required; and with other users at your own instruction.
5. Content visibility
Friendz is a social service. The visibility of your profile and posts depends on your in-app choices and friendships. Check your intended audience before sharing.
6. Retention and deletion
After you request account deletion, your account and content are suspended for a 7-day grace period during which you can cancel the request. At the end of that period, your account and content are permanently deleted from active systems or irreversibly anonymised.
Limited records required for security, dispute resolution or legal obligations may be retained for the applicable period, and backups may persist until the regular deletion cycle completes. See the Account Deletion page for details.
7. Security and children
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures such as access restrictions, encryption and logging against unauthorised access, loss and misuse. Friendz is intended solely for people aged 18 and over; age is verified at sign-up and accounts found to belong to anyone under 18 are closed and their associated data deleted.
8. Your rights
Under Article 11 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) you may learn whether your data is processed, request information, request correction or deletion, and object to processing. Send requests, together with information sufficient to verify your identity, to contact@bullsdigitalhouse.com; requests are answered free of charge within 30 days at the latest.
